Then it steadily rose in the past year to more than 80 US Dollars and then to 90 USD. That was in April-May 2007.

How to beat that? The formula of my friend (he lost a mobile phone before coming to a meeting with me), is very simple really. He offers the solution that Russia's crude is going to be just fine an alternative as all the other fuels from other places like Dubai and the rest of OPEC. Moreover, he says that the country should build as many oil refineries around the country as possible to lessen the impact of high cost of importation, logistics and other factors involved in oil importation and distribution to end-users.

Not always being... gasolaneous nor dieselaneous

I think that it is quite high time enough that Asian, and particularly Filipino entrepreneurs in the oil industry think seriously about the world's paradigm shift in regards to the use of gasoline and diesel.

The monopoly of certain powers over gasoline and diesel are weakening economies and making cripples out of transport industries as well as in effect, business concerns in general.

There is CNG - In the U.S. gasoline will be sold at the peso equivalent of Php128.8 per liter. This amounts to the final oil price shock for the period. We wonder from the present Php30+ per liter, how our oil companies will be pricing gasoline by 2006? Let us pray for world changes to happen so that the price of oil in the international market, and particularly in OPEC countries and the U.S. will go down.

what a horrible sight!!!

<img style="DISPLAY: block;
